The Mello cushion extends the Mello design series introduced last year with cushions in the same colors as the matching plaids. Designers Skogstad & Wærnes developed a diagonal pattern by experimenting with yarn and paper, resulting in a structurally robust construction and a three-dimensional texture to the fabric. The interplay of a white warp thread with a plain weft emphasizes the weave and creates a sheen that highlights the natural lustre of Norwegian wool. The cushion continues the unmistakable design of the MELLO series and balances a soft, three-dimensional surface.
