The Isak series began with the first sketches in 2016, when Anderssen & Voll were involved in an international design project called "Furnishing Utopia". The creative work took place at a workshop in Hancock Shaker Village in Massachusetts - a place where craftsmanship is a tradition. The Shakers designed their environment in a clear, simple and at the same time meticulous way that somehow seems completely modern and meets the challenges and needs of our time. This is exactly the feeling behind the Isak series.
