It is made from a combination of hand and machine spun yarns and represents a fusion of past and present through the fusion of techniques and subtle irregularities.
'Bold' stands for warmth and feel, the 'most important and well-known qualities of a carpet' according to designer Hella Jongerius.
The floor decoration has its very own character due to its specific twisting process and the subsequent hand-dyed yarns, which are not dyed through to the core, and is an eye-catcher in any room.
