This flatweave rug is made by hand and consists mainly of natural new wool, with a minimal amount of cotton in the warp. Our versatile Essential Flatweave rug can be used harmoniously in any room. Care instructions

Our rugs are all very easy to care for and robust. Natural wool has a high fat content (wool fat lanolin) and therefore has a dirt and water-repellent effect. Regular vacuum cleaning is enough to keep your carpet fresh and clean. Just make sure that you do not use a vacuum cleaner with a beater bar or rotating brush, which could damage the fibers of the carpet. During the first few days, some excess wool may come out of your rug. This is normal and there is no need to worry. Repeated vacuuming will also remedy this. Small, superficial stains can be treated with a clean, undyed cloth, lukewarm water and natural soap. Please refrain from using chemical cleaning agents, as these attack the natural protective layer of the wool and can lead to irreversible discoloration and hardening. For large, stubborn stains, we recommend that you contact us for a professional assessment. If you don't need an assessment, you can also book your carpet cleaning directly online.
