Eames Plastic Armchair RE DAL with seat cushion by Vitra

The seat shells of the Eames Plastic Chairs RE, made from post-consumer recycled material, can be combined with different bases. Charles and Ray Eames developed the Dining Height Armchair La Fonda Base (DAL) in 1961 for the legendary New York restaurant La Fonda del Sol, which was furnished by their friend Alexander Girard. With its central leg consisting of four parallel strands that merge into a four-star base, it is one of the most elegant and unconventional bases designed by the Eames.
