The origin of this luminaire is just as poetic as its design. On a rainy day in Milan, Karim Rashid saw a person wearing a raincoat. Due to his short-sightedness, he only saw the silhouette - an abstract shape that inspired him to create this striking luminaire design. The wall light is available with a lacquered steel body, either in white or in a two-tone version in black and white.
Karim Rashid, a designer with Anglo-Egyptian roots, has created numerous other award-winning designs in addition to the Cadmo Parete LED. Some of his works are on display at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, among others.
