The hanging lamp, which is part of the Nimba collection, was designed by the well-known designer Antoni Arola. It was his first design in 1997. The Spanish company Santa & Cole produced the collection.
The hanging lamp has a stainless steel structure and a natural or golden lacquer finish. The round and thin lampshade is made of white PVC. The pendant lamp is attached to the round ceiling plate made of black metal with a cable. The power supply unit is located in the plate. It has an impressive diameter of 180 cm and the ring is 8 cm high. It weighs 17 kg and is connected to the power supply using the 5 meter long electric cable. The built-in and dimmable LED has 140 watts, a light color of 2700K, a luminous flux of 5550 lumens and a service life of approx. 40,000 hours. The lamp is CE certified and has IP20 protection.
