Graduate Benjamin Thut had been experimenting for some time with the movement of gas springs - inspired by the fastening system for the trunk lid - to invent this ingenious idea of adjustability. The patented use of gas struts is unique in luminaire construction and gives belux lifto its large radius of action: the three articulated joints can be moved easily with just one hand, yet the light remains unchanged in the desired position even with this large radius of action. With 10 strong power LEDs, the table is illuminated over a large area and impressively with high color rendering. The close arrangement of the LEDs prevents unpleasant multiple shadows. With the integrated tip switch, belux lifto can be dimmed from 100-1% or switched on or off completely.The electronics are designed for a service life of 50,000; however, belux lifto is also designed so that the LED board can be replaced.Belux Lifto has a wide range of applications both in the office and at home. The smaller belux liftolino version is particularly suitable for small tables or for reading at bedside and a variety of mounting adaptations are available for table and wall use.
