Chlorophilia Sospensione LED pendant light from Artemide

Chlorophilia is a new project by Ross Lovegrove, who once again demonstrates Artemide's expertise with its characteristic organic and soft shapes in the light engine of the lamp body. It is a very impressive but light pendant lamp that completes itself when it is lit and shows its delicate shadow play in the room. It consists of a luminaire body that contains a COB LED and is used for heat exchange. Delicate phytomorphic light elements made of PMMA lend discontinuity through the soft undulating movement of the surface and work as a lens. The central, suspended body emits indirect light that is filtered and refracted by three transparent surfaces whose natural shape is reminiscent of natural elements and leaves. These three radially arranged elements partially overlap to multiply the play of shadows and create an impressive effect on the ceiling. They combine to illuminate the ambience correctly. Chlorophilia is a lighting principle and interplay that can be repeated by multiplying the elements to create compositions that unfold or expand on several levels in the room.
