Almendra Linear S4 pendant light from Flos

The Flos Almendra Linear S4 pendant luminaire with diffuse light, available in linear and organic compositions. Tubular aluminium construction and CNC aluminium pressing with matt or metallized surface. Integrated edge lighting technology. The luminaires can be rotated in 60 degree increments to change the direction of the light emitted within the structure. Metal rosette with matt white finish. The electronics integrated in the ceiling allow the use of different dimming systems: 1-10V, DALI, Push-Dim or potentiometer. Usable cable length 3 m. The product is designed according to ISCC standards and is assembled without glued parts so that it can be completely disassembled for later reuse. Designed by Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola, the Flos Almendra Linear S4 pendant light, short and long version, is a modular lighting system whose shape and colors are reminiscent of the almond tree after which it is named. An ambitious project in terms of design and materials, a synthesis of poetry and sustainability, achieved through sublime design and cutting-edge technology. Almendra follows the ISCC (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification) protocol and has been developed with sustainability in mind. Petals and diffusers are made of special polycarbonate, a by-product of paper production, and no glue is used to assemble the product. Almendra can be completely disassembled so that each part can be reused.
