Artemide Pipe LED Terra floor lamp The Swiss architects Herzog & de Meuron, who designed the Allianz Arena in Munich and the national stadium in Beijing ("bird's nest") for the 2008 Olympic Games, designed this elegant and unusual floor lamp for the Artemide label. The Artemide Pipe Terra floor lamp has a continuous steel tube covered with a transparent platinum silicone coating that does not yellow. The steel tube merges into a conical diffuser containing the compact fluorescent lamp. The lower part of the lamp is immobile, but the upper part is flexible and can be adjusted. This allows you to achieve targeted, direct or diffuse light. The funnel-shaped lamp head is made of transparent polycarbonate with a rubber-like appearance. The internal reflector made of mirrored aluminum with small side holes offers a dark light look and gives the floor lamp a particularly attractive appearance. The front lenses and the diffuser made of transparent polycarbonate undergo a special treatment to prevent them from ageing more quickly due to UV rays. The living room floor lamp is equipped with an electronic ballast. Thanks to the compact fluorescent lamp used, the floor lamp with its striking design is an ideal light source for any living or office space. With the help of the touch dimmer built into the steel tube, the brightness can be controlled with a simple flick of the wrist.
