In 1986, inspired by the challenge of lighting his own library, Oscar Tusquets developed a lamp that could be integrated into any shelf, taking up little space and providing adaptable lighting at the same time. In his own words: "Is there a better shape than a book itself?" With its metallic, book-shaped body (made of white or gray aluminum), Bib Luz blends unobtrusively into shelves. A slender, rotatable arm protrudes from its "book spine", at the end of which is an adjustable spotlight that can illuminate any desired corner. Several units can be connected in series to form harmonious compositions on different levels. The result is always brilliant, but never dazzling - ideal for anyone browsing through literature.
