SuperWire is the first modular lamp family designed by Formafantasma for Flos. An enchanting, poetic project with a design reduced to the essentials, but with great impact. It is reminiscent of the work of the great glass masters of the last century. Made entirely of planar glass and polished aluminum, the design of the luminaire is based on the development of a tailor-made light source that emits a warm and homogeneous light.SuperWire consists of one or more hexagons of planar glass connected by a polished aluminum element and illuminates the entire surface thanks to a new light source: a very thin, flat, soft and flexible LED strip up to one meter long, which emits a warm and homogeneous light along its entire length and which can be easily removed for replacement and repair, unique in the panorama of bulb-less LED lamps.This floor lamp consists of two 75 cm high modules, one above the other, resting on a steel tripod, paying homage to the historic Luminator by the Castiglioni brothers.
