The iconic Luminator LED floor lamp was created by the brothers Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, two of the most important names in Italian design. Together with their brother Livio, they ran a successful design studio in Italy from 1944 to 1952. However, they celebrated their international breakthrough as early as 1939 with the legendary transistor radio "Phonola".
