Technological innovation, material research and sustainability come together harmoniously in the Illan pendant luminaire, which consists of a very light body made of extremely thin, flexible plywood that has been laser-cut along densely packed, evenly distributed lines. It is a valuable and versatile material whose unique natural character is reflected in the typical grain. These characteristics are the defining features of the project. Once Illan is suspended from the ceiling, it gains volume thanks to gravity and takes on its characteristic shape, appearing to float in the air.
