As the smallest member of the series, the Tizio Micro table lamp from Artemide is in no way inferior to its larger family members in terms of design and fascination. Its seemingly perfect balance is particularly eye-catching: the wide lamp arm appears to float freely in the room and is balanced by a counterweight above a filigree axis of rotation. This fine balance conveys the impression of a harmonious interplay of forces.
The origins of the Tizio Micro date back to 1972 and can be traced back to the very personal aspirations of its designer Richard Sapper. When working and reading, he wanted a light that specifically illuminated the work surface, while the rest of the room deliberately remained in the background to allow maximum concentration. His aim was to create a luminaire that takes up little space and yet offers maximum flexibility in use. The now legendary shape of the Tizio was born out of this aspiration.
The Tizio Micro table lamp is made of high-quality aluminum. With a maximum height of 76 cm, it is the most compact version of the Tizio family and combines technical sophistication with timeless design.
