The universal and flexible Melampo floor lamp from Artemide was created by designer Adrien Gardere. It is characterized by a conical lampshade that can be adjusted to three different positions. It can therefore be used both as a reading lamp and as indirect room lighting.
The lampshade is made of silk satin stabilized with plastic, which is Ecrù or aluminium grey when switched off and white when switched on. The rod is made of aluminum and the base of lacquered zamak.
The Melampo Terra floor lamp can be ordered in several versions. There is a version with an aluminum grey rod and shade and a version with a neutral shade in Ecrú and a bronze-metallic rod. It weighs 7 kilograms.
