A simple and clever table system that was originally conceived by Egon Eiermann for the simple architect's workplace. A simple wooden door could easily be converted into a work surface on the inexpensive frame. Function in a nutshell.
The 'Eiermann 2' is an extended version of the original from 1953. While this still had slanted cross struts, they are straight on number 2. This means that the table is accessible from all sides so that it can also be used in the kitchen or dining room.
If you don't have a free wooden door lying around, then I recommend the matching table top.
