Beetle' has already been a beetle, a car and now also a chair from Danish manufacturer Gubi.
Like the insect and the car, the chair is also characterized by characteristic curves. In the case of the fully upholstered chair, these can be seen in the seat shell and backrest.
The veneer edition takes the organic, nature-inspired shape of the original 'Beetle' shell and adapts it to the conditions of veneer processing. The result translates the characteristic curves of the 'Beetle' into a molded wooden shell, giving the chair a new material aesthetic without compromising the comfort for which it is known.
In combination with the filigree 'Conic Base', the slender metal legs, the 'Beetle' looks extremely graceful and timeless.
