The HAY J77 chair was designed by Folke Pålsson and has its origins in the original model by architect and designer Poul M. Volther.
He had already designed the original chair in the 60s. Now the new model returns with the same charm. Not too solidly made, but still very stable, this chair can do its job and cuts a fine figure at the same time.
Thanks to the curved backrest, this chair can also be used in a variety of ways. Seating comfort is guaranteed by the wide seat, making this beech wood chair a real must-have for any furniture lover.
Designed to add extra comfort to the J-series chairs, a collection of seat cushions has been developed to fit all the different variants. The upholstered cushions have a non-slip back and are available in selected sizes, fabrics and soft quality leather.
