Today I get to play judge and present awards! To be more precise, I get to award ribbons. As a symbol of appreciation and passion for the things that make my heart skip a beat. The finely selected furniture or accessories that I would like to have from the Mooris showroom for Christmas to make my home more beautiful.

I really like the ribbon as a symbol. Sure, it's very much in the zeitgeist at the moment and is omnipresent and very hip on all social media. But it's much more than that.

The easy-care pet with its good weight was conceived as a door or window stopper - but is also simply a wonderful eye-catcher in my home that even the kids can play with. I like the fact that the likeable Dutch label Züny campaigns against violence against animals and for greater environmental awareness.

I have loved this delicate light figure for a very long time. It is not just a beautiful source of light, but a real art object that was designed by artist and designer Isamu Noguchi in the 50s and has lost none of its relevance since then.

For designer Noguchi, the paper transforms the cool electricity back into warm sunlight. This light-footed beauty would definitely look wonderful on my sideboard and would keep the sun shining a little after sunset....
I really like the Moser chair with Jonc wickerwork from the traditional company Horgenglarus. Why? Because on the one hand it symbolizes the classic pickling chair, but on the other hand the Jonc or Viennese weave makes it somehow fresher, finer and more feminine. And brings a little touch of bohemia with a classic twist to my interior.
Made in close proximity by hand - a piece of furniture that will give pleasure for a long time.
With its fine ladders and beautiful shelves, this Swedish design icon is more than just a shelf. Designed by Kajsa and Nisse Strinning back in 1949, the system is not only super versatile and very aesthetic, but also officially recognized as a work of art.

It's not for nothing that ultra means beyond or above. Because this mirror is simply U L T R A in everything. Ultra-cool, ultra-large, ultra-special and unfortunately also ultra-expensive. Nevertheless, this purchase is a purchase for the mind, the eye and the soul - and such an ultimate statement piece in your home that it's worth scrimping a little longer. The mirror object from Italian cult manufacturer Poltranova, which is reminiscent of the late 80s, shines in the most beautiful neon tones and brings a lot of movement into my home with its wavy frame, even without electricity.
