It's that time of year again: the Blickfang Zurich design fair opens its doors - and we're there. Independent labels, young designers and established manufacturers will gather on over 2000 m² to show just how diverse good design can be today.

We are looking forward to new shapes, surprising materials, clever ideas - and of course our favorite labels.

Blickfang is not a trade fair in the traditional sense. It is more personal, more direct, more approachable. Here you can meet the people behind the products, ask questions, feel, try - and be inspired.

Every year we discover something new: bold concepts, sustainable materials, exciting small series and design that not only looks good, but also makes sense.

From Mox with the extension of the legendary 'Pool' series to the natural nail polishes from Farbig and the jewelry collection from Felix Doll - here are our favorites from Blickfang 2025:

Dehgraf is a young design studio from Zurich, founded by Eduardo About. The claim: design that is not only aesthetic, but also functional - clear, accessible and timeless.

What inspired us: The combination of innovative technology (such as 3D printing, laser cutting, casting processes) and craftsmanship. Each object is designed and manufactured in Zurich and only produced to order - for more sustainability, less waste and a noticeably decelerated design approach.

At Atelier Mond in Appenzell, Anja Ellenberger creates atmospheric lamps and accessories that focus on the interplay of material, form and function - timeless, sustainable and with a feel for the essentials.

Each piece is made by hand - with a fine sense of proportion, surface and lighting effect. The result: lights that radiate warmth, calm and character. They not only bring brightness into the room, but also attitude.

Farvel brings a breath of fresh air to a topic that is often ignored: saying goodbye. The two founders Katharina Hogg-Erdrich and Sebastian Kuhn-Prohic have made it their mission to develop aesthetically designed, sustainable urns - individual, biodegradable and dignified.

What impresses us: At Farvel, dealing with loss is not a taboo, but is designed with sensitivity, respect and a clear design standard. The urns combine form, function and attitude without appearing heavy. For a conscious farewell culture that does justice to the uniqueness of every life.
