With the legs raised on the bench, the comfort of the Bascule armchair can be enjoyed even more - and without the armchair it can be used as a comfortably upholstered stool, either individually or as a group of several benches. Bascule combines the cozy expression of a loose fabric cover with an innovative mechanism that allows a wide range of movement from an upright to an almost horizontal position. Studio OE has used tailoring techniques from the world of fashion, Ottomandie designed for freedom of movement, to create a cover that lies over the structure like a jacket. The cover is removable and all elements of Bascule can be repaired or replaced if necessary. Bascule is available with two different bases and as a highback or lowback. An ottoman is also available as an additional footrest.
